You have questions. That is completely normal.
IV therapy is something a lot of people are curious about but not always sure how to evaluate. Is it safe? Who should be administering it? What exactly goes into the drip? These are the right questions to ask, and they deserve straight answers before you commit to anything.
What makes the difference is who is doing it. Not every clinic offering IV vitamin therapy near you is operating under the same standards. At our Burnaby clinic, every session is performed by a practitioner who holds intravenous certification and is in good standing with the BCHBC, BC's governing regulatory college. We use pharmaceutical-grade vitamins and minerals only, and we follow established clinical guidelines for safe administration.
If you have been researching IV therapy in Burnaby or the surrounding area and you want to feel confident before you book, you are in the right place.
IV Vitamins (Myers Cocktail) and IV Iron
Intravenous medical nutrition is the superior method of using vitamins and minerals. This therapy bypasses gastrointestinal absorption problems, but more importantly, is able to achieve an extremely high blood concentration of nutrients beyond what is orally possible. This high concentration makes it a down-hill process for cellular absorption, and thus "sick" cells are able to absorb nutrients necessary for function and healing.
Health Canada prohibits the advertisement of IV Vitamins for clinical use for diseases and health conditions. Thus, we only mention that this particular IV is offered at our office. Please email or call the office for more information regarding this treatment.
